HeroesWiki Interview with Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and Ken Lally
Ryan Gibson Stewart of HeroesWiki fame emailed to let us know he recently interviewed Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine
I wanted to let you know about my most recent interview. I spoke with Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, the actor who portrays Usutu, the African painter. He also played the leader of the terrorist cell in the the unaired pilot. What a difference in roles!
The link is Interview:Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine. Check it out and read Ntare has to say about the paintings, his character’s power to see the future, and of course, hyena dung!
Why don’t you tell me your take on the character you play now.
Usutu is basically at the opposite end of the spectrum as Joseph. He is sort of serving as a spiritual guide for the characters he has interacted with so far. Maybe it’s best to quote Tim Kring. I asked him how he saw the character, and he said he saw him as a Yoda-like figure. That actually gave me a lot of insight as to how he saw the character and the role he plays in terms of heroes and villains. He is one who tries to pull people to him for the forces of good.
HeroesWiki has also conducted an interview with Ken Lally, who played the German this season. It can be read here.
HeroesWiki Interview: Timm Keppler and Jim Martin

Let’s talk a bit about Connie. First, why did she and Penny keep Connie’s maiden name rather than taking Julien’s last name?
Connie’s a strong character; the type of woman who, in our mind, would keep her maiden name. Julien died when Penny was very young and it seems Connie would want to protect her daughter from any questions arising from having the same last name as hundreds of clones. That makes sense. What can you tell us about Connie that we don’t know? Was there more back story that you cut?
You know, there really wasn’t. We felt the heart of this character was her family. True love, a healthy daughter—she bought the cliché, and loved every minute of it. The “it” moment of her life was when that was destroyed and it informed everything she did after that. The darkness she refers to built and built over the years, until there was very little of her left.

Also, please note the last paragraph!
Fingers crossed for a great Webisode shoot and tune in for those online beginning on December 15!
Sweet!

HeroesWiki Interview: Oliver Grigsby, Zach Craley, and Jason Badower
Ryan Gibson Stewart conducted an email interview with Oliver Grigsby, Zach Craley, and Jason Badower, the creative team behind the Root and Branch series.
RS: Did you two writers collaborate on the assignment tracker? Also, did you really come up with “classified” sentences and paragraphs that were omitted?
ZC: I worked with John O’Hara, one of our new media producers, who is the go-to-guy for all things assignment tracker. I provided him bio text, descriptions, etc. and he helped to flesh that all out. And as far as those omitted parts…it was all part of the plan. It’d be fair to say Julien’s story is far from over; once some of those blanks get filled by the rest of the story, that file may be de-classified.

HeroesWiki Interviews: Evsdropr
Well, I don’t know how he did it, but Ryan Gibson Stewart was able to get an interview with the one and only Evsdropr. The questions were submitted by fan’s, and Ryan forwarded them to Evs.
Probably the most interesting answer received is:
RS: How do you earn a living?
ED: I’m on the Company payroll.
I think it was safe to assume Evs worked for the company in some capacity, but now we know for sure. Hopefully in the near future we can find out more about that.
