Pinehearst Research Company

feature photo

Pinehearst Company’s website was recently updated. There is a new video entitled “Company Commericial” - note that it is spelled incorrectly. At the bottom of the “Careers” page, move the mouse over the gray area in the bottom right corner, and click on the link.

This leads you to this website where you are prompted for an access number. Input the number “19225688423″ and you will be leaded to a directory. The number was given out in a Pinehearst Research Company brochure at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Read on for what the directory contains.

There are four folders on the page: “877_309_PINE”, “Vmail_Archives”, “Documents”, and “Exchange Archives”.

Under “877_309_PINE” folder, the “IVR” folder has five WAV files.

Under the “Exchange Archives” folder, the “Exec_team.doc” says:

To: Exec team
From: JEFF “jeffery.perkins”
Date: 8/1/1997
Subject: NSA-43 Presentation
Status: Urgent

Team:

I wanted you all to know how proud and grateful I am for the tremendous efforts you put into our recent presentation to the NSA Procurement group. We have a superior technology and an implementation force second to none—but getting our message of excellence across effectively is what sales is all about. It starts with a great pitch—and I know how hard all of you worked on this one. I’m happy to report our efforts appear to have really paid off.

I just got off the phone with Deb Bohrman, # 2 for NSA systems procurement. She told me she is going to “strongly recommend” that NSA include a full commitment for 500 BioTrak BioEmitters in their “black budget” request for calendar 1998!

This is a tremendous step forward for us as a company. With globalization, the NSA is more important than ever and we are on track to grow with them every step of the way. We’ll continue to work hard to fulfill every one of their deployment, tracking, and biotechnology needs.

Please come down to my office at 4PM this afternoon for a toast and celebration.

Great job!

Jeff

In the Evs-Dropper group on MyNBC entitled “Pinehearst Update,” Jeff Perkins posted a reply:

Thank you for your interest in Pinehearst. More information will become available in the next few weeks. Our Vision Powers the Future.

  1. Whoa! Nice update. How did you find this? How did you know to click on teh grey area? Where did you get the access code?

Want me to do screen caps?

  2. A letter from 1997! Wonder what clues that holds. Also, the wav files seem to just be recordings from a voicemail line.

  3. Also, I called 877-309-PINE, and it gives you the same voicemail as in teh .wav’s above.

  4. Someone posted this in the Evs-Dropper group…

  5. “BioTrak BioEmitters” ??? The tracking devices in our Heroes?

  6. Wow! I thought you guys knew about this. My bad. It was discovered in early July.

  7. Yeah, the site was discovered in July, but the rest of the stuff wasn’t found till after the Comic-Con.

  8. And Psych-Gen, if you do notice anything we’ve left out, please let Frank and or I know…

  9. Ok. Just for fun as in may not mean anything but it is interesting, there are at least 4 different Helixs associated with Pinehearst. Three of them can be seen in the first screen shot. The 4-bar double helix in the upper left a 3 1/2 bar double helix in the videos title,, the bar helix of the hidden link. There is also a red\white variant found on a pin given out at comic-con and it shows up in the video as an emblem on the front of a monitor. The 3.5 bar helix appears to have been deliberately altered. What all these symbols mean has not been made clear.

  10. The hidden link helix is a three bar helix.

  11. Impressive.

  12. It looks so much more modern than Primatech paper.

  13. Primatech was started in 1962…

  14. That’s the first thing I noticed, Albamapie. I’m wondering when http://primatechpaper.com is gonna get a face lift. I mean, it says ‘tech’ right in their name.

  15. This sounds like fun.
I love both Heroes and ARG’s, so this is just like candy for me.

Hope this begins to develop SOON instead of in a few weeks.
I have already applied for “a job” at Pinehearst.
    I hope I am accepted.
My name would just be funny if it sprang up in an episode or something.

  16. lol, it’d also be funny if HRG ad the Haitian turned up on your door with an isotope

  17. @Reneiw -

    Welcome to HeroesARG!

The ARG has actually been in progress for over a year now. We just ended a long running off-season game involving The Company. If you want to catch up, I suggest start reading the graphic novels. That should get you caught up. You can also watch this video.

  18. If you watch the video closely, you can see something that looks a lot like a Company pneumatic injection device on the screen when the narrator says “That’s why we’re commited…” halfway through the commercial.

  19. @Michael -
Well, since we saw HRG use one in the episode last night, it’s not a surprise.

Someone correct me if i’m wrong, but wasn’t that the first time we’ve seen the gun on the show? Those of you who have been with us since the beginning should remember Hana found the tracking injection gun blueprints quite a while ago, but I don’t think we’ve seen it since.

  20. Frank,

Noah doesn’t work for Pinehearst, he is freelancing with the Company at the moment.

  21. Hana had one when she met with Ted and Matt at the graveyard, S1.

Correct, we have not seen it since, until now.

I have a picture of her holding it in my 9thW sig: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh28/RiddlerHanjinome/Hana3rddraft.jpg

    RiddlerHanjinome made it for me.

  22. Michael, you are correct.

Stupid Navy firewall… have to wait till I get home to see it.

  23. Frank, you’re in the Navy? That’s awesome, man, thanks for your service!

  24. Ew. No way! I was in the Air Force, but now i’m a civilian. I work for a contractor for the Navy. IT Dept.

  25. LOL! I apologize for my assumption. My dad was in the Air Force “back in the day”. Your service is appreciated.

  26. If Frank was actually in the Navy, I don’t think this site would be possible.. =)

  27. Hei, what’s up?
Do you know were we can find more “secrets” about this website?

  28. More Secrets? In light of the tolls recent financial crisis’ have taken; cancellation of the LOST ARG being one, the letting go of two of the shows writers and, rumors that NBC doesn’t care much for the direction the show has been taking, I doubt there will be any more secrets spring from Pinehearst. I notice I no longer receive texts relating to the ARG, does anyone else still get them? I presumed they stopped as part of cost cutting measures. The last text I recieved was the 11-19-08 alert about the iStory. And with what, 3-4 more shows in this season, unless they plan on using Pinehearst next year in the ARG, my money is on the Pinehearst site going the way of Activating Evolutions Wiki, Samanthas blog, Brian Undaunteds Imeem and EVSDROPRs blog. Internet Limbo.

  29. I only get the in-show texts now :(

  30. Hei buddy, I think that I don’t get it!!
So… do you think that they will stop to put “secrets” in the Pinehearst’s website??? Why? Because the high costs?? I can’t believe!!!!!

  31. Yeah, there hasn’t been much activity going on with Evolutions, except for new webisodes, more Assignment Tracker profiles, and graphic novels.

  32. Now I wonder was last night with Meredith burning Primatech and Flint burning Pinehearst, Arthur is dead(?), Angela is…well, is this the end of Primatech Paper and Pinehearst?

  33. ^^^IGNORE^^^

Slower than Matt’s turtle. Don’t ever get old.

  34. Oh shit!! And now? The website is over!! =(

  35. @Gustavo -
So.. ya, I agree with Gustavo. The site, and Pinehearst are probably done with now. I’m curious about Primatech though. That place was concrete.

  36. Frank I agree. In the show the rooms were unpeneterable. Then HRG gets out in half a min. Sure the l5 villains wouldn’t have guns but ‘d get out if they were stuck in there for the rest of their life

And was that first shot of the outsite of Primatech a different facility? It showed an old manor but in season 1 it was a warehouse.

  37. Season 1 Primatech was in Odessa. This burning Primatech was their upstate New York headquarters. Primatech Odessa technically should still exist. Whether enough management remains or employess\agents.

Thinking further in the beginning, Primatech was Primatech Paper, paper being the companys front. Can’t recall when they just started calling it Primatech, dropping the ‘paper’. The front
company was probably not necessary after Peter’s fireworks display in NY.

Kinda funny after all that Hana, Drucker and, Evsdropr tried to do to bring the company down it just took Meredith and her brother to destroy both buildings! And a shot of adrenalin LOLZ!

    Where’s the Sylar’s gone thread?

  38. There are also Company facilities in Odessa, Ukraine…

  39. I realised that the series of 8 were held in Ukraine warehouse but is there a known faciility there?

  40. Albamapie, where do you think Ivan Spektor and Maarten were working out of?
